Caribbean Rhythms Salsa

I guess you can say that dance has been a part of me since I was very young. My grandmother was my first influence and from there it has been a wonderful journey to where I am today. I got back into dance after moving to Greenville. I can honestly say it has been one of the bright spots for me. Coming from New York, I am used to many more places. As for my style, I am not a flashy dancer; I just simply like to have fun when I am dancing. Being of mixed heritage, I find my passion truly comes from my Jamaican roots. My greatest joy comes from the smile on the face of the lady I am dancing with. That is when I know I am doing something right.

I was born in New York, of Puerto Rican decent, and I have been dancing a Caribbean style of salsa

for over 20yrs. I have also be cross trained in LA Style, New York Style, Cuban Style, Ballroom as well as Merengue, Bachata, and Cha-Cha. Regardless of what style you know, or want to learn, always remember that dancing allows you to express who you are while having fun.
